Jeff Dingle recognized as the first African American President of The Georgia
Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies

Jeff Dingle, P.E., Vice President, Delon Hampton, Chartered was recognized as the first African American President of The Georgia Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies by the Fulton County Commission at their August 6, 2008 meeting. The ACEC is composed of more than 200 member firms across the state of Georgia engaged in the practice of engineering. Mr Dingle assumed his position in June 2008.

The Atlanta University Dual Degree Engineering Program annual scholarship banquet was held at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead on April 28, 2006.


First Photo: Val Bates, President Khafra Engineering Consultants, and his alma mater, the University of Missouri, Rolla awarded 12 scholarships to engineering students in the program.

Photo #2: The Jackson-Davis Foundation awarded 4 $2000 scholarships to civil engineering students in the dual degree program.


The Fiftieth Annual Engineers Week Awards Banquet was held Saturday February 25, 2006 at the Thalia N. Carlos Hellenic Community Center. The evening was highlighted by a black tie gala and awards ceremony to honor the winners of Georgia's Engineering Excellence Award and the Georgia Engineer of the year competition. GMCEA member firms were represented as winners for the year 2005. Photos and descriptions below.
